I think that it's clear enough that this situation won't change soon.
I can't believe in any promisse anymore.

We need to go to streets and make them to hear us. And what it's really bothering me, there are at least thousands nannies all over the country and just few of us are able to open their month and ask for answers.

Seems that situation of slaveness it's ok for some nanny, nice bosses still make you slave, you're attached to them, you don't have option and free of choice. Can you nannies understand it?

2 years it's enough, it's what we had signed up... More than that it's too much!!!

Just confirm my last sentence, the current situation is even if we are on implied status, there is no guarantee we can get the OHIP extension. So I decide to apply for the work permit extension this month. I just can't wait for the worst thing to happen in the last minute.

Thanks for the clarification, this is what I thought you meant.

According to Attorney Fabregas, he has been getting good feedback on this process though so I hope you have luck as well.

I do think it's always good idea to extend the work permit though, even when on implied status, so you have no issues in renewing OHIP.

I hope to see lots of us in Thornhill tomorrow, if not i will be so disappointed becos few of us can not do this, we are over 300 people on facebook for God's sakes.
I sat down here watching a documentary on BBC about the live of Filipinos in Manila and it sadden me. We come to Canada to make things a little bit better for family back home and we are caught up in this Modern day slavery called LIVE-IN CAREGIVER in Canada.
