Live-in caregiver PR applicants for April,May and June timeline

This is just sad and miserable. yes, each and everyone of us have our own sad stories dealing with the long processing of our OWP myself havent been able to send any money to my family back home for 5 months now bcoz im jobless and on implied status. Everynight i cant sleep thinking of them hoping that they still have some food to eat. Im just hoping and praying every week that i hope ill get my OWP but its getting hopeless already. This cant continue anymore. Why are they doin this to us after all the hard worked weve done all that 3 yrs, we cant even have e.i benifits bcoz were on implied status. see how canadian government and jason kenney treat us. were just slave for them that they use. but were not entitled to any rights. This has to stop now.

I will try to get a list of Filipino news media together and a list of Canadian news stations.  For sure they
will want to speak to us.
I don't even know that OWP took 6 months once ....OMG...when was that ?

I've sent my application June 16, 2010 and they received it by june 19. They started processing it august 31, 2010....until now I haven't received my OWP.

hi everybody

I'm apply pr application and open work permit.  I completed two year on June 2010.  They recieve my application on 8 July 2010  and start processing on 15 Sep 2010.  I'm worked with my employer until the end of July 2010.  Afterthat I'm not working anymore.  I'm stay with my boyfriend and waiting for open work permit.    My work permit expired in July 2011 but I still didn't get open work permit yet.  What should I do?  Do I have to apply for a bridge extension?

HI All!

 I had sent my application for PR and OWP in sept/2010. They received it on October/2010.
 As I said before I had received a letter asking me for updates, I had sent it back already.
 Before I was able to see my process online now I can't anymore.
 So, I called CIC today to ask about it. Do you know what they said? They do not know why I can't see my process online, and that they are opening letters that got in Vengreville in June. Any kind letter...Joke?
 The guys sounded to be very annoyed when I said LCP...
 I believe that won't have any more choice than go to streets and ask for answers...
Who is able to meet on the labour day? I'm in Vancouver.

 @ lakeshore. You should apply for a bridge extension. It's a safest way to stay in Canada.
 Apply before turn 90 days that you work visa expired.
