Congratulations fiesta class.
but yeah guys.. who else did received there OWP on april 2010 applicants? i know that 1st week of july some april applicants up to april 12 already recieved there OWP then we havent heard anything anymore. and how can ecas stay on april 3? when there isnt anybody receiving there OwP till now? its almost 2nd week of august. are they freezing it again? is this cic's new agenda? to give a few people there OWP and add another month to the timeline again? if this is the case then im afraid that some of us that applied since 2010 will not gonna get there OWP till next year. almost 5 months to go and its gonna be 2012 and all the applications have been there goin on 2 years already. what a shame. speaking of getting advantage of the weak. does cic even read this forum? Ive sent a letter to an MP here in our area and thats in june to ask some help from them and yeah they did call the immigration to ask in our behalf but same goes.. no definate answer to when are we really gonna get our OWP. so who else can help us if nobody can?

received additional information on- sept 2010
after 15 months of waiting still no updates or anything and yeah im a single applicant
gettin tired of playing cic waiting game. i dont really care how long it will take them to process our pr as long as they give us our OWP so that we can work and get the benefits were entitiled to. is that hard to ask?

@ wsongcoYou asked about the health/medical (RAMQ) in Quebec....didn't answer for quiet awhile since i confirmed first for the 2nd time the facts. If you're working with the same employer and you're on "implied status" you can renew your RAMQ. Just bring a letter from your employer stating that you're still working with them together with your expired work permit. Hope this helps.

I live in Edmonton (AB). I sent application for renew WP (same employer) on March 7th (recieved March 9th) and still have not any call from CIC or letter or Work Permit   And I sent application for PR and OWP on Aug 16th 2010. Just waiting. No SIN, health card Still working for my employer, but part time Kalinka , please let us know about any news with your WP... |
