But you can still stay in the country because you have the "implied" status right?

They said " faster path to PR" over and over .....
Maybe they meant, you can apply faster BUT it'll take twice as long to receive it... UUmm....
My mistake..... ( I am being sarcastic....)

Apologies if i offended you!! Obviously you want to hear the sugar coated version and not look at the facts !!!!!!!!!!! The government promised Filipino caregivers FASTER PERMAMENT RESIDENCE LAST YEAR with the new " IMPROVEMENTS" in April 2010. I will send you the link later !!!! DO I NEED TO SAY MORE ! [/color
Tell me one caregiver who is receiving her PR faster and I will change my opinion !!
Seems you don't care about empty promises, I sort of expected more from the Canadian government. We are working hard for them , leave our kids & families behind. You don't think they should keep their promises
We need to speak up, best to tweet @ kenneyjason or email at minister @ cic.gc.ca
You know what? you are about to pist me off too like spyrow13 and some the rest here, you said empty promises? did the gov't ever promised the live in caregivers fast pr processing? have you been campaigning with them in the last election as if you know everything? "SUGAR COATED" okey tweet that to your bunch of fans or followers in the twitter.girl if need to recruit more members in your twitter fans club then go ahead.Goodluck!

hello fellow caregivers like me.Ive been following this forum for 2 years now. reading all your messages comments and opinions. finally register today to post my comments because i cant take it anymore. first of all i wanna ask why are you guys are fighting or having an arguments? does any of you really know whats happening in all the papers thats being sent to cic? none of us know right? we just believe what we read and what other people is tellin us. well guess what? and ill tell all of you this if theres a negative comments on what ill gonna say then be my guest but try to understand this ok. i sent my paper may 7 2010, until now no news about it. and did you notice that even the middle of april applicants still havent got there OWP so how can anybody say that they are on MAY processing already? they can say all they want and offer us words that can calm us down but the truth is unless everybody receive there OWP and PR in a sensible time like what they are doin last year then ill believe something but right now i dont want to believe anything anymore. If cic are hving backlogs then its there problem and us caregivers shoudnt be the one paying for it. this is a first world counrty and what they are doin to us is not fair. we pay our tax and give our best to this job but when it comes to gettin whats been promise to us they are being so stingy about it. and OF COURSE WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO QUESTION IT WHY? thats why all of you are in this forum right? bcause you want to know the truth and truth and facts sometimes doesnt need a sugar coating. Its better to accept reality and understand whats really happening than to hope for something then be disappointed again week after week. cant you people notice that they keep on adding month on the timeline evry month too? and yeah BTW nobody cares once your on implied status already no matter who you talk to or ask help all they gonna do is pass you from one agency to another. try callin cic and ask about your paper and they wont tell you anything. all they will say is wait for the processing. oh yeah wait for the processing? until when? how long can you wait? all this people thats so gullible to the cic and jason kenneys promises im asking you know can you really wait for something that you dont know when's coming? and BTW yeah last election if any of you is watching the news or reading some notes online then youll know that YES the changes made in LCP last year " suppossed to be" will make the LCP program better. tell me is it better now? is 15-16 months first stage approval and 16 months 2nd stage better for Us? when last year its 6-7 months and 12 months for the 2nd. and if this country cant handle us immigrants then they should stop getttin people then. why is it theres news that they are planning to get 40000 more immigrants then if they are having backlogs? so for all of those who keep on making excuses for cic then help yourself.

Seems like you are not one of the gullible ones that crowned Jason Kenney " King of Multiculturalism." because of his heroic changes to the live in caregiver program. Really , are we better off as before. A friend of mine is waiting for her work permit in Hong Kong , getting longer and longer and her employer just cancelled. I have three friends in Manila who got denied because of stupid reasons like suddenly they want three years of experience where is should only be one. I just want to be treated fairly !!

they phoned me 1st 2 ask why i have a work permit application (same employer) if i have pr application sent on july. he asked me too why i did apply again (i applied work permit same employer oct 2010,got denied jan 2011). i explained to him i need new permit bcoz implied stat doesnt mean *censored word* to other govt agencies. (not the exact words but u know what i mean) he said he'll talk 2 his supervisor but his supervisor said no and they will just send me a letter that he says i can use to apply health, etc. after the call,he then call back &said he review my papers again,i include lmo there. he said "i see,u got lmo,ur applying workpermit". i said yes. i think he thinks thats the same papers when u apply open work permit. then,he told me, you're approve for workpermit

@ LCPcaregiver: If and if, the stats are true and 100% accurate that LCPs are sprouting and growing like mushrooms around Canada....dont you think its a high time for the gov't to deny applications outside Canada and deal with the "backlogs" within Canada instead to prevent more distressed and stressed "battalion" of LCPs waiting? I'm joining the battalion of LCPs.....Go forward! Don't lose hope...at the end of the tunnel we can always see the bright light ahead! Cheers!
