hi to all fellow foriegn workers yesterday i have the chance again talked to my employer's sister who's working at cic vegeriville, alberta.
she told me that live in caregiver applicants that applied for owp/pr started september/october 2010 and up can expect reduce processing time for 1st stage approval, reduce processing time for pr approval for single applicants, married applicants and approval of lc2 depends on Canadian Consulate processing time abroad.processing tme being updated quarterly at cic website for 1st stage and 2nd stage are just an estimated time, application are done case to case basis,Mr.Jason Kenny already issued them memo to fast track the processing time of every applicants in every class specially the LIVE IN CAREGIVERS ..i ask her also about the "decision made and you will be contacted" that some of us here have already got from cic ecas, based on her experienced as a visa officer it is that mostly the applicant will be approved for PR and that if the applicant have dependants, all LC2 informations must be received 1st from the Canadian Consulate abroad where the LC2 have applied before a PR approval can be granted to the Principal (LC1) and then to the LC2

BOYZONE2,
thank you so much for the wonderful news you have shared with us,its a great relief for everybody no wonder a friend of mine applied her owp and pr last november 2010 cic started to process her case in just 1 month (december 2010.) i am hoping that i can see good results and changes soooooooooooon!!!  Grin Grin Cheesy Cheesy

Do they realized the damage they caused to our lives here and to our families back home?Sooooooooooooooooo sad Sad, frustrated Cry & angry!!! Angry Angry Angry

I wouldn't be surprised at all if somebody leaked this " memo written by Jason Kenney" on this forum

Maybe he is getting a bit worried ,many pinoys who voted for his party are feeling restless and duped by them.
I doubt we'll see PR and Open work permits faster, look at all the other categories.
Huge backlogs, over one million applications in the systems, why would he say to speed up live in caregivers. HuhHuh
I don't believe it , the memo is a false leak to keep you from complaining to Jason Kenney on twitter.
I encourage everybody to sign up on twitter and tweet  @ kenneyjason for promised processing times

Honestly I dont know what to say again, i don't want to believe they are stuck again, this is totally ridiculous . I cant understand why it is going to take them 24 months to process just AIP because i believe if they are stuck on April 3rd again, it might take them 2 year to grant AIP !

speed up live in caregiver applications ?
Doesn't make sense to me at all HuhHuh

I heard that the Live in caregiver program " will be gone in two years " !!!!!!!!!!

Honey, not sure if you are a pinoy but many promises are broken by this government when it comes to the live in caregiver program.
Remember, faster PR was one big promise my friends were promised in Toronto over and over ....BEFORE THE ELECTION!

and a whole bunch of other things .................................
