We started processing your application on June 24, 2010.

Hi! I'm new here and Some one can help me to understand, I don't know what is LC1 and LC2 and The immigration is still ask you the second medical exam? I just sent my Pr in january 12, 2011. but I don't know How can i check my processing time in cic. Can you guys help me? . My husband and me are care giver and we are working for the same family, so we live together and we have 2 childrens living we us, one is mexican and the baby canadian, Do you think that they going to process us ? Because each one ( my husband and me) have Work permit as a live in caregiver program. Thank you  |

I did not renew my visa yet but i will. Let me show you guys the letter that was from canada visa office.
If you have an open work permit you don't need to provide a letter from an employer but if you have one already you can certainly submit a copy.

Mailed in applications take 136 days to process on the average (same employer). Almost 5 months is correct. And CPC-V is processing applications received on March 7, 2011. |

Hi ying888, Buddy..... I belong to November 2009 timeline. Same thing I can see when I check @ cic client application status. I don't have ehough words to explain about current PR process time. Only I can say it is soooooooooooooo painful. CONGRATULATIONS!

Guys, Have you heard about this Regulatory changes to the Temporary Foreign Worker Program take effect April 1st, 2011. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/changes.aspAre we affected by this new regulation? especially us Caregivers who will just apply for OWP/PR next year? Just need some enlightment  |

I submitted my OWP and PR application on April 20, 2010. The CIC received it on April 21, 2010. They started processing it July 5, 2010. I am at loss as to why I have not received not even my OWP and it's been 15 months and counting. I called them and they told me to give another 2 months. The Canada post strike affected the already ever slow process. I'm facing expiring health card, work permit and sin. I can't renew any of these without the OWP  . |

Some of us here don't have health cards for the last 6-7 months so you are kind of lucky if it's going to expire just now... |

Thanks a lot for this info!  I believe this is the first action of all the live in caregivers after getting OWP,I believe everyboday extremely miss their family in back home coutry. pls share your application for RTV。。。。 Thanks again..... |
