I gonna get OPW . And between the gap look for a new job.
How am I gonna eat!?!? Lol it's ok I don't stress out that much!

hi Guys.. just want to share this..
My friend who applied for PR May 2010 from Philippines got her open work permit last week of Nov 2011. She checked last week with CIC regarding the status of the application of her dependents in Philippines and they said that she should make follow up on Canadian Embassy in Manila bcoz their file has been transferred already.
Today, her husband got a call from Canadian Embassy, Manila. The embassy told him to email them the names of all the dependents, mailing address in Philippines and Canada, contact info (email and phone) both in Philippines and Canada. The email add they gave was manila-im-enquiry   @   international.gc.ca
We dont know yet what will be the letter they will be sending.. Is anyone experienced same situation like this?

gud eve...awhile ago someone called me..she also gave me an email adress...manila/im/enquiry @ international.gc.ca...is this right???she said slash not hypen....

yes,she's from the embassy.,,she told me to send the full name of my mom,my full name,my brothers full name,our adress here in the phils.  & my mom's adress in canada...did u encounter my situation?

Nope not yet,i told my wife she might get a call from them,but im not sure maybe your kit is on the way,did they tell you something about it like will they email you the kit or send it by mail to your house?

she just told me that there reply with my email is within 60 days

ah ok good luck to you hope you got your kit soon,we are just waiting for ours,the email add of CEM is manila-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca that is the one i use when i email them its dash not slash good luck

Hi everyone! Just want know if Health card is co-terminus with the expiration of my work permit? I'm in Alberta and only now that I've decided to look for family Doctor and  :Dhave a general check up while I'm not doing anything. When I book an appointment to see the doctor it'll be on the 29th of march and my work permit expires 29th of march. I don't think they'll ask for my WP while seeing a Doctor. Anybody knows?

at first i had an error...i sent it without subjct...then i send again with the subject already...wat do u think they receive my msg even though i just had 1 respond frm there computer?

If you sent it to the right email add you are gonna recieve a confirmation reply,i think its alright to email again if you make a mistake just to make sure,good luck

Hi, do you already have an OWP? May I know your time line?? my friend and 3 of her friends received a call from CIC too about her dependents info.. Im thinking that maybe its because of the new requirement.. In the new document checklist CIC is requiring additional family info.. I checked the one that I used last December there's no such thing.. but im not sure about this..

If you sent it to the right email add you are gonna recieve a confirmation reply,i think its alright to email again if you make a mistake just to make sure,good luck

i emailed again to the right email..but i dont receive any confirmation reply ..
