yap, I think someone can get bank draft or manager's check for you as long as your payee is Canadian Embassy Manila. Just right your name at the back of the check. The call center representative will give you all the details. You will pay 350 pesos for pik-up and delivery of your documents. I recharge 700 pesos in my smart cellphone and just few pesos left. To make sure recharge like 1,000 pesos if you want to use cellphone or use PLDT landline via long distance. |

Hi madpotato,
I have one question please help.i applied PR & Open Wp on dec/2011.i also add my husband name in application.my in-laws in canada .they want to sponser my husband as work permit but i already inclued his name in my application.if my in-laws sponser my husband ,it will effect in my application process because i already add his name in my application.please help i m confused.

It won't affect your application for PR. How can your in laws sponsor him? WP? Do they have a company in Canada that is eligible to sponsor (hire) foreign workers? Hi madpotato,

Hi all, so I am sending my application in March but my visa has expired lat November my work permit with this employer expires in 2014 do I have to renew my visa when I send application? I already made a copy of my valid passport that has expired visa page in it.

Have been under the stress, frustrations, and depression for 19 months.
Finally i got a decision made!!!
Received application : 23 June, 2010
Started processing : 3 Sep, 2010
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made and you will be contacted.
We sent you a letter 19 Jan, 2012......
Thanks God!!!
CIC issued my kids study permits at the same date as 19 Jan, 2012.
Hope this gives you a slight light!!!!!
Congratulations Cindy! I am happy for you. I haven't received my OWP yet. I will wait til the end of the month and then I will ask my MP for help or maybe send a letter to Director of CPC Vegreville. Hopefully it would help. My work permit expired last Dec 28, 2011 now I'm on implied status and still working for the same employer of more than 3 years now. |

You don't need to have a valid visa for PR/OWP application. You just need a valid work permit on time of your submission. Unless you are planning to leave or go on vacation then you need to apply for visa Outside Canada so you can come back. Hope it helps. |

I'm so scared !! Since I have been reading this forum some people still waiting for opw but how come all my friends that sent last year they all got it! One of them sent in nov2011 and 3 weeks later she got opw I her hands!  so worried opw = freedom |
