Thanks! Yes, it says ' a decision has been made and you will be contacted'..actually, when I received my OWP in the mail ,I received another letter with the Medical form for my husband. |

Thanks! Yes, it says ' a decision has been made and you will be contacted'..actually, when I received my OWP in the mail ,I received another letter with the Medical form for my husband.
that was fast considering that you are married.. 14 months... so does it mean faster processing for single applicants?  |

Hi everyone just goy my owp from the mail today, the remarks og owp is "temporary resident status maintained as per R183(6).
Issued to the validity date of the passport.
Pending LIC apr.
I think i should wait for couple of months to have my first stge approval. I am november2010 applicant:)

Just want to ask you something, ..did you received a letter from Vegreville that stated that the processing of your application has been completed, and your local immigration center will contact you concerning your PR status? If yes, so.. you could have your PR interview very soon!  This is a great news to everyone, as CIC is giving INITIAL APPROVAL too like you that is an October 2010 applicant! |

Oh.. so when your husband comply this right away, (maybe) CIC will grant PR to both of you in no time! Is your husband holding visitor visa when he came here? |

Hello everyone, still no good news for me. I'm still waiting for my OWP and PR approval. I got a call from cic last Dec. 10 asking for my renewed passport no. I ask the agent about the status of my application and told me that he has nothing to say about my application and advise me to call the cic hotline. But then, when I phoned them he told me to wait until Jan 2012. I hope and pray to receive my OWP this year coz I will be unemployed next yr. I'am july 2010 applicant fr BC married with 2 kids.  |
