Pls correct me if im wrong.
Im sure your OWP will be issued shortly but it might be your pilot project OWP though.
Im a June 23 applicant and got that OWP as well.

I will keep you posted guys, and thank you, thou haven't had yet haha..You can probably receive it this week, My friend got her in 3 days after they told her they send her owp.

I know someone who applied sometime in Oct. 2010 who recently got her PR approved ...same time with her OWP. So that's about 14 months   She's single.

 @  wsongco....my dearest confidante here on the forum, i just want to inform you that finally the immigration issued my OWP just yesterday dec. 10, 2010...i am so thankful and ecstatic right now...i want to thank you for your support when i couldn't find somebody to confide my worries on my application, thank you for touching peoples lives it is very humbling...goodluck to you and your plans in life...take care and happy holidays!!!!

I am Aug 2010 applicant and I am worry, may be they needs some additional documents or papers?

And started process on Oct 2010.

I think the ecas will be changed once the decision has been made so not for me yet.
Verry sorry for those who havent got OWP but im not a big fan of that kind of OWP called Pilot Project.
Its better than nothing though but I really want to hear the first stage approval instead.
You wont believe how much i have been getting stressed out because of the exorbitant processing time.
BTW have your depedants got the medical exam request?

 @  Ebony.. yes, i know what you mean about "Its better than nothing though but I really want to hear the first stage approval instead", especially on your case that you had wait already for almost 17 months then you got yours ..but still PENDING, right?
To some I know they are happy so much even though they that pending remarks but at least they didn't waited as we did!
I'm just hoping that CIC will gave initial approval stage on FIFO bases.  

Mine, I don't know yet what is the remarks as I don't receive the letter yet from them (CIC).
My dependants don't under go medical exam as they were born here. Only me and my wife applied for OWP & PR, and we don't under go second medical exam! The medical exam we did is only when we came here to work under the program (LIC).

   @    kalinka.. by fax you mean of sending the letter? They will not allowed you to do that! You need to talk to an agent before doing that if she will allow you to fax or not!
Did you already talk to one of the agent regarding your application?
As you are an August 2010 applicant.. I know what they will answer to you if you inquire regarding why some 2011 applicants have their OWP!
Usually they will answer you that:
 *don't believed to other applicant especially later than you,
 *mind your own application,
 *they had received your application on August 2010 and they just processing June 4, 2010 applicants!

But still you can call them and ask if there is any problem regarding your application or papers. But don't compare your application to others!

  @   aridoarikato.. I think this is normal to single applicant, as they don't need to under go the second stage assessment!  

The bad thing is some of the applicants ahead of him/her were not even granted their OWP!

Not so.. But who will cares your letter after they received it?  

Unless they will tell you to send one, so you can find that people who tell you to send a letter in the future! Hope you understand what I mean. 

Me too, when I call and talk to an agent last Monday (December 05) morning regarding my application, I asked her before maybe my application where not decide yet because I maybe they don't received the copy of my new passport that I sent to them last September this year, so she checked my file and told me NO.. they don't have it! Then she told me to send again another one on mail with tracking number or registered mail. I even suggested that if I can fax it with them, but she turn down my offer!
Until I'm finished prepared the mail to them, one VO call me and told me if I could fax to her the copy of my passpport.
On that day, around 6 p.m., I got an approval that my OWP was granted when I checked on to their automated phone (18882422100) + 127. And it were sent to me on that day too! By the next morning, around 8 a.m., I call and talk again to an agent to verify what I heard on their system, an agent told me that it was true, and they granted my OWP together with wife, that is under the program too!

So I think you need another more patience regarding in waiting your PR and your family to be approved!

 @  roxaida- did yo mean how long we need to wait for PR approval? if so, I think it takes 1 yr processing. But hope it will shorter than that, who knows right?
