My friend got her OWP today!!!
She sent her application for PR and OWP on June 2nd 2010!!! She is single and without depend.
So - now applicants on June will have theirs OWP!!! I am so happy for everyone of us

congrats nanny16! this makes me wonder.. does the cic processing update is mostly for married. are they doing april 3rd for married applicants' papers?
this actually worries me too. what if this is just a scam. mr.kenney heard about the strike. give few lics their owp just for us 2settle down..but then aftr this to a longer waiting. hopefully not...

YOU can apply EI without ROE, as long as you know whats your employer wrote it down,,,,bec if you w8 for your ROE you will lost some benefits just like mine...just inform service canada that your ROE is on the way...YOUR employer can send to SERVICE canada electronically as long as she/he has the account.....and we can see our ROE too as long as you have the MYSERVICECANADA account.....try it and you can see....
