Processing time today Jan 12th 2012 for Step 1 Initial Assessment (last weekly update: January 11, 2012) AIP is 18-19 month. And for Step 2 Final Decision - 17 month. Anyways let come together and share our time lines. I am applicant Aug 2010 and my family didn't got yet LC2 kits Application for PR sent on Aug 16th 2010 OWP received on Dec 10th 2011  |

Hi to all of u, u will rcvd a confirmation letter from cic that u r eligible for PR and ur family will rcvd the kit 3 months after the date of the confirmation letter. i rcvd mine ulready with the client history update form.
rcvd application: june 4,2010
start process: Aug 16,2010
client history update rcvd: Jan 7,2011
OPW rcvd: Dec.16,2011

I received a letter from CIC before they sent my OWP. It says that final decision will be made after my family have passed medical and background check. The Manila Office will send application forms 3 mos. after receiving this letter. |

so how many months now since ur letter rcvd?
I received the letter last Dec. 2011 and hopefully by March or April my family will received the application forms, that's what is stated from the letter (after 3 months) I hope.... |

I didn't receive any letters yet. Will wait. Anyway, I got OWP and very happy, and I am working now.

Still is the same 18-19 month. Anyway CIC is working now and we can feel it, they updated time to June 7th 2010
I remember CIC was stuck for 4 or 5 month (from Febr 2010 till May 2010 CIC kept the same date).
So we have to be a little bit patient and check for update
And also if somebody has good news please share it here, will know what is going on
