Live in caregiver wage is diff than the standard min wage.
It has gone up from 9.25 to 10$ per hour. Many people thought it was 9.50$ but it is actually 10$
I double and triple checked as I have nanny and wanted to make sure I was paying the correct wage.
Thanks

thank you for the info, it is very helpful. Since you have a nanny , if you don't mind, I like to find out when you remit CCP, EI etc to CRA , do you use $ 10 / hr based on 37.5 hrs week as the gross income or do you reduce the hourly rate by a factor for the room and board ( some $ 85.xx a week I think..) and use that as the gross for CRA purposes ?
