Live in caregiver

I am new in this forum and I would like to share my problem. I came here in 2006 and was delayed for several times to complete my Live in caregiver requirements. Firstly, I was dismissed by my employer in order to have my child because I was pregnant that time. It is only this January 2010 that I completed the 24 months. I sent my application for permanent residence in the first week of December and I have not hear from the immigration yet. what will be my possibilities being granted for permanent residence. i would appreciate your comments and sharing.
