If a foreign applicant has only experience with elderly and a midwifery diploma is she allowed to come to Canada to work with children as a live-in nanny?
I would appreciate your quick responses and opinions. thanks!

From what I have heard, caregivers who does not have the 6-month training certificate or the experience to take care of children, cannot apply as nannies. But once in Canada, they can change employers and they could start working either as nannies or elderly caregivers.

can foreign worker who dont have child experience as a job(but still experience as a nanny)
apply for nanny? not under live-ini caregiver program?just a regular temporary work permit?
if cant work as a nanny, what about housekeeper? or something?

You can try applying for housekeeping/hospitality jobs (workers in hotels). But i don't know if employers will be apply for LMO for you. You can try looking for jobs in this category at newspapers and kijiji.ca, then call or email the employers.
