Link to application process

Hi All,
I am new to the forum. I hve PG, 8 yrs experience in the required field, also qualify by age, Husband has done bachelors degree and IELTS result is to come out by end of Jan. So - 25 + 21+10 = 56 + 3 = 59 Aand rest to b covered once IELTS results are out.
So i guess i will qualify. I went through the CIC website but still very much confused.
Please help out with answers.
1. Kindly forward the link to the new application process.
2. My husbands degree is from a University that has been merged with another bigger university. We have applied for the transcript and hope to get it. In case v dont get it. i think i will still b able to qualify if i get a decent score for IELTS. My doubt is then i will hve zero points for adaptability. Will tht b negative?
3. If i apply say by Mid of Feb will my NOC get filled up as i believe there will b pending documents in each Visa Office. And by the time i apply my NOC will reach its cap.
4. My employer has not issued a detailed job letter.  Dont know how he will take it if i ask for one. Any suggestions to put forward the request to him

As you said you have been through the CIC website, I am not sure why you cannot find the link to the application process, but I have put it here for you.

Was the university your husband earned his degree at a recognized educational facility before it merged?  Go online and do the practise tests for IELTS so you are well prepared for the test.  Book it early as it can take several weeks/month to get a seat and the results take another 13 days.
Without indicating which NOC you will apply under, it is impossible to guide you about it meeting the CAP, but I suggest you follow the thread "Applications after 26/6".  They have made a spread sheet including projections for each NOC till the end of June 2011.
How to ask your employer for a letter?  All depends on your present relationship with him, but always helps to tell him your experience in his/her firm has been positive for you.  State that you are preparing to emigrate to Canada and would appreciate his help with the most important aspect of the application.  Take a copy of the information required (NOC duties), perhaps draft a list of your duties that are relevant to your job and that NOC so that he doesn't see this task as "more work".  Tell him that it is a time consuming process and you look forward to continuing to put your energies into your job.
