I got letter of reference printed in company's letterhead and I got signature from company's manager and attached his business card. Should I need to get company's official seal ?

Yes..it's a must !!

WORK EXPERIENCE
For you and your spouse or common-law partner:
• notarized employment contracts from your present and past employers,
accompanied by an English or French translation
• original and up-to-date letters of reference from your past and current employers.
Letters must be written on company letterhead and show the company's full
address, telephone and fax numbers, and be stamped with the company's official
seal.

Why reference letters for spouse or common law partner?
Letters of Pricipal applicant are not enough?

Please comment.

If you are claiming points for the spouse/common-law partner,  then definitely you require the documents for that person also.

It'd be better if you can get company seal as it will be more authentic !

Chuppilad.

Refer to Page 15 of EG7.

Adaptability Criteria.

1) We claim adaptability marks against level of eductation of spous/common law partner.

And
2) Her work experience in Canda.

If we claim for (2) then you are right. Otherwise i think, no need to arrange reference/experience letter.

Am i rught?

Please guide.

Chounas it should not make any difference, as on letter head the adress and contact number are mention and its easy to reach to the person  who has signed it. I didn't attach any card, and i got request for my medical.

I am providing the Letters of reference from US companies which usually don't have or use seals. I know one of my letters won't have the seal for sure, how strictly is this enforced? Has anyone had a case where they returned the application or didn't add the point because of the lack of seal?

It is always better to submit for the spouse as well all the documents as it strengthens your case.

As Mansoor mentioned it is not necessary to submit all the experience documents for the spouse, but it is always better if you submit. Why take chance and put all your energy behind the documents with the full application.

If spouse is not the main applicant you only need to send official transcript for the both(spouse and main applicant), as you will get marks for spouse adapatability not for her / his work experience only one experience will be counted which is main applicant. Its better to send spouse education documents plus any courses and diplomas.

In pakistan, no employer gives experience letter with company stamp. And it is accepted in pakistan. So, depends, your employer is willing to stamp or not.

Generally, letter heads, neet not to be stamped.

But, any who had applied for IMMIGRATION, and has faced this type of confussion may answer well.

Wait till any body could answer based on his/her experience.
