Hey colleagues,
I think it has been known that all people who received documents update letters in oct/nov 2009 ( from 2007 applicants) as well as those who did not receive yet the documents update letter will complete their cases during the first quarter of 2012 and many of my friends falling in that category sent a case specific inquiry for the VO and they got a reply that the VO is not able to process their request due to the Parliament decision to reduce number of immigrants and therefore, their cases will be postponed to a further date.
Fair enough, but the question is why are we not being informed about this new developments per letter, and asked whether we still want to continue or not. Those of us who do not want to wait till next year should be given the possibility to withdraw our cases with a full refund.
Anyway, for me that is like a breach of contract, as I agreed with the initial letter on the basis that I will wait for up to a maximum of 48 Months as stated in their letter.
I remain adamant that I do not want to wait beyond the 48 Months, whether or not the Parliament keeps changing their rules or not.
Double standards hey, They were very fast to mention that their will be no refund after that initial letter, isn't it?
