hello all!  marshmallow>> i don't think boyzone typed it wrong because we have almost the same timeline..he's just two weeks ahead of my dependents timeline.. here's my LC2 timeline: LC2 kit rcvd and sent to CEM: OCTOBER 29,2010 AOR Rcvd: JANUARY 25, 2011 Waiting for Med Request........ALMOST SIX MONTHS NOW NO UPDATE YET BOYZONE> pls keep us updated since we have the same timeline tnx..do you have an FB account? can i add you? Quick question for LC2 Timeline
How many months did your dependents received their LC2 kits in Manila from the time CIC received or started processing your OWP/PR applications?
I noticed that you did not include in your posts the dates of CIC received/started your OWP/PR apps.
I quoted this timeline from Boyzone2 from another thread and observed that it took almost 5 months from CIC started processing to dependent's LC2 kit received in Manila.
CIC REV'D---------------------------FEB. 16,2010
CIC Started processing my PR-----APRIL 29,2010
LC2 KIT REV'D FROM CEM-------- -SEPT. 15,2010
Is that the average months or some got shorter/longer duration?

@ syrinmuller -- it's the first post about the timeline, it has 0ct 2011 as the date they sent the LC2 kit...   @ plussy -- it took almost 10 months before we got our LC2 kit... my husband submitted his OWP/PR application April 2010...

@ plussy,
as u can noticed every month and year the timeline of our dependants LC2 is getting longer,last year it took only few months for the CEM to processed every LC2, and now i don't know..thats why i started this thread so that we will have an idea how long the CEM will take to process each dependants LC2. it would be great if you could share your dependants LC2 also.

Hi Boyzone2 Just applied OWP/PR this year. I asked that question to have an impression of the timeline. My dependent lives in Region 2 and bugging me since when will the LC2 kit show up. Now that you've mentioned it, I guess we will just have to wait. Thank you for starting this thread and will be posting mine in the future. Thanks too Ms. Marshmallow |

it starts when your dependant's LC2 application was issued a confirmation letter and file number by the Canadian Embassy in Manila.

Hi everbody i just want to ask why open work permit has different validity period? mine have 2 years while my friend have only 1 year,does it mean my case is much slower because i have 2years in my owp? we are both married.

LC1 PR processed by CIC April 2010
LC2 Kit received October 2010 sent ot CEM November 2010
LC2 received AOR and file# Decmber 2010
LC1 OWP receivd January 2011
LC2 Medical requested March 2011
LC2 PPR sent thru DHL May 31,2011
LC2 passport with visa received thru DHL July 26,2011
Status: Booked with Korean Airlines
