Dear seniors,

Previously one of our forum members "assiwassi" has raised this type of question. Unfortunately, neither i understood question nor its answer. Rather it confused me a lot. Please clarify me that:

We have to write dates in formate for example:
Pg 2 of Scedule 3 Economic Class FSW Section: 11.Work Experience from_______To_______.
If a job has been ended we can close this job with its closing date but what about the dates of current continuous job, education, personal history, and addresses etc.
I mean these are continous.
For expamle i started working in an organization in Sep-2006 and as of to day still i am working in that organization.
So, should i write work experience: From "YYYY/XX" TO "to date" or should i write the date of application instead of writing "todate". Same is case with current address, education, personal history.

Hope i have expound my question
Please advise

I wrote "From XX/2007 to present". I think immigration officers are intelligent enough to understand that.

Well, in your case it may well do.

Like I said earlier, I wrote "present"
and right now, my application is "In Process" stage.

I guess its highly unlikely that the application will be returned on that technicality. However, I cannot speak for everyone else here.

Get the forms print outs and then write it in your handwriting as "Till Date" or "Present".

Go with what someone who have their application in process.

But if you must know, i wrote the actual current date for the "to" part. I thought to myself, so what if they think that my job ended on that date. It is not like being unemployed is bad for the application. Anyway, I don't think they would think that. However, my application is sitting at the visa offices so I can't really say what I did is correct or not. Only that sydney accepted it.
