LEBANON QSW: Done our Medical Tests (Damascus Embassy)

Dear all,

I just wanted to notify about the Medical tests, specially for Lebanese residents. Today I went to one of the designed doctors to take a meeting for medical tests. I arrived to Hospital at 11:30AM. Then met the assistant of the doctor, gave her the medical papers + 4 photo passports for each my wife and I. Now suddenly and to our surprise, she told us: go do the tests now and your appointment with the doctor is on Monday (in 3 days from now). So we went did the following tests:
1. Blood test
2. Urine test
3. XRAY test

And all is finished at 12:30PM. Everything took exactly 1 hour. It was very fast, and smooth. I don't understand why many people make big a big thing out of the test. It's something VERY normal.

Tony what is the doctor name that you selected/which hospital? and can you plz share your timeline?

My timeline is as follows:

1. Applied to Damascus office from Lebanon for CSQ (Certificat de Sélection pour Quebec): Nov. 2007
2. Received our CSQ (my wife and I): Oct. 2008
3. Applied to Damascus office for Federal Permanent Residence Visa: Mid Nov. 2008
4. Received Acknowledgment letter from Damascus: 2 Dec. 2008
5. Received our Medical Tests papers: 14 Nov 2009 (Today!!) after 11 month and a half waiting...

As for the Hospital, it's Rizk Hospital Ashrafieh. But I prefer not to mention the doctor's name here. Anyway, once they send you the medical papers, all the names of the doctors will be listed so don't worry

Dear hassan09,

I want to inform you that I got my passport request yesterday from the Damascus Embassy by E-mail! So now it's a 2 weeks issue max and I have my VISA stamped on my passport!
Hope you get it too very soon man!
