Hi there,
I'm intending to apply for an extension to my work visa (with special exemptions). I'll do this through vegerville. My current work visa is good till December 31 2008.

I'm needing to travel both to the states and to Australia in this time. Will I be able to do this without jeapordizing my extension application, given the fact that my current visa is not up till December (which i'll be back for)?

Thanks in advance

I don't think it's a problem.  One of my bosses even travelled to the US while his work visa was expired, he was waiting for the extension, it was already applied for.  He had a bit of trouble to get back in though but when he explained his work visa was in the process of being extended, they let him in.
