Hi everyone, I am applying for PR under LCP. I am one of those applicant who was released upon arrival and then my agency introduced me to another employer here in BC. After my work permit for this second family was approved, I started working with them but due to their kids behavioral problem that I cant handle, I decided to leave and gave them my notice and they got mad at me so they didnt wait for that 2 weeks notice that I gave them instead they asked me to leave the next day. So the next day they gave me a cheque for my two weeks work and thats it no deductions no T4 and no ROE. I filed my tax return for that year and I did not include that income because I have no T4 from them. I assume they did not declare that since I didnt get a reassesment from CRA. I was wondering if I should include this second employer on my work acitvity in the last ten years on my PR application? Thanks again for this forum and its members.

technically speaking, you don't have 'the proof' that you were employed with them...so maybe you can skip them in your work history... Grin

hi..i wonder if u know someone who was released upon arrival that was granted PR... they made changes the yr 2009 for those who were release upon arrival..,,it was stated there that the job offer did not exist since it was release upon arrival...this is my case.. i am sure i have completed 24 months but hoping despite of that fact,,they will still approve my application someday.. Under whose name was your initial WP when you arrived in Canada? Was the person listed on your WP contacted by the officer at POE when you arrived?

I assume that you were working for them while the paperworks were in processed-meaning you started working without a valid work permit...you dont have to put that in your application. For the time that you were working with them...you put jobless. you can only put the "legitimate" work in your application.
