1st official language highest points requirement would be 20 which is now 16.
Less than 35 yrs olds will get the maximum points in age factor, that is: 12 points. points will be gradually diminish if age is above 35. no points for people aged over 50.
CIC will accept more technicians rather than Bachelors and Masters, Phd degree holders.
CIC is proposing to reduce the total number of points that could be awarded for work experience from 21 to 15.currently applicant gets full 21 points having 4 or more yrs of working experience, but the proposal is that applicants have to have more than 4 yrs of working experience to achieve 21 moints.
fraudulent Job offers which is popularly known as AEO would be more scrutinized.
So, doors would be narrower for people above 35, less English proficients, More Academic degree holders, Fraudulent AEO applicants. There is still hope for all as this is just a proposal, CIC has mostl likely released this proposal notes to monitor the reaction among people and they will probably revise these proposals by adding or subtracting some points. Let us see what comes out in June/July 2011.
