Hi,

I have applied and received admission in the Centennial College, Ontario for the jan. 2009 session in a Post Diploma program in management, and have applied for the study permit on 10th december 2008 at New Delhi. My classes were due to start from 12th jan, and i still havn't received any information regarding my Study visa. I went to the Canadian High Commission here but was of no use. They gave me a standard reply statin the application processing times and told me to wait. Now i am planning to opt for a different program (also a management program) in the May batch and wait for the Study permit result. Therefore, how best should I inform the High Commission of this change so that my Study Permit is not harmed.

Looking forward for some guidance,

Sincerely

-First, obtain the admission letter or any letter mentioning the May semester. Once you have the changed admission letter inform it to the High commission.Or write a letter to them clarifying the reason why you changed the program schedule and attach the admission letter with it.

Kindly help me.

- Write a letter explaining why you wanted to change the date. Mention that you were worried about the lengthy visa processing time. Attach your new admission letter with this letter too.
