Need help on following subject.

Me and wife working in Kuwait and got immigrant visa to Canada.  We are planning to go for the Landing certificate in February 2010.  We did the medical in March 2009. We will be in Canada for only 1 week to do the landing certificate formalities and will return to Kuwait.  Does anybody know that after that when we must go back to Canada and for how long we can renew the PR card and.  We like to get the Canadian Citizenship but we would like to work in Kuwait as much as we can.  Your assistance will be highly appreciated.  Thank you
