How long does it take to issue the stamp in your passport? I sent mine to the embassy in my country and would like to know how many weeks it takes. It's been a few weeks already and I have no news from the embassy. my family class sponsorship has been approvoed and all the canadian embassy was supposed to do is stamp my passport. i havent heard from them.

euphemia,
Just suggesting...

Have you tried contacting their office by email, phone or fax to find out if they received your passport?  Could you trace your passport through the mail service you used?

yes I have tracked it via the courier and it has reached the Embassy. But what I need to know is how long do they usually take to issue the landing visa once they have possession of your passport at the Canadian Embassy? Thank you.

In India it takes about 4-5 weeks (Including the postal delays). Which country did you send your passport to?
