Landing

We have our Canadian visas & plan to go to Alberta for a 2 week fact finding holiday in June (our visa expires Oct 08), I presume we will land then also. Can our PR cards be sent to us in U.K. what options do we have for recieving our PR cards if we haven't got a Canadian address.
Also do we still fill out the list of personal items we will be bringing even if it will be 6 months before they arrive?

The PR cards can only be shipped within Canada, if you are from the UK you are safe to exit as you can use your UK Passport to come back sould you need to. But you will need someone in Canada to receive your PR Cards

Thanks, that helps. Is it o.k. to tell the immigration officer that we intend to leave before we recieve our PR cards & return to pick them up later?

Well... it's never good to lie, but I would do it on a need to know basis, if asked answer truthfully, if not then go about your business.
