Hello everybody. after 2 long years I got notice that my application was processed and my passport was requested. SO I am flying to Buffalo in 2 weeks to go to the consulate and get the entry visa stamped in my passport. now, I was told that I have to enter Canada by x date, and that my pr card would be mailed to the address I put on the form. So my question is, is it possible for me to cross into Canada (by car), get all the paperwork done, stay for a couple of days and return to my country to take care of all my affairs and  have the pr card mailed to my friend's house, then return to Canada at a later date? Reason I ask is because I have a job here, rent, etc, and I can't really just drop everything and take off. anybody have any experience with this sort of issue? I'd appreciate your replies.

thanks!

Yes, you can.  Make sure you complete your goods to follow form so you have it when you land.
