Hi There,
I have a few questions pertaining to the first landing in Canada. I've seen a few topics on this (after a search) and have some additional questions.

I'm heading to Canada in April to obtain my PR card. Firstly, how long does this process usually take at the airport? I assume I have to head to my nearest CBSA office at the Airport? Or are you directed to the office when you pass boarder control? Would it be advisable to have all of the landing forms printed and completed as much as possible upon landing as well as the List of Goods forms?

Unfortunately I can only stay in Canada for two weeks in April and will therefore have to apply for a Travel Document, if I was to travel into Detroit and then through into Canada I won't need the Travel Document? Am I correct in thinking this? I aim to return to Canada in June and would hope my PR card will be present by this point.

Any other advice from those who have already completed would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,
