Hi Qorax and all seniors, Can a provincial nominee land anywhere in Canada or does the landing have to be in the province that nominated you? Thanks in anticipation of your reply.

Technically u should 'land' in your province. However, if u could convince the BSO @ the 'other' POE, with documentary proof of your 'onward' journey, u should be fine. While if u do not have one such - u might face the music.

It's advisable to 'land' in your province - to make it simpler & easier; & thereafter, take your pick.

HI Qorax,

Thanks for your reply. However, I have 1 more question. How Can I achieve the landing in Alberta (AINP nominee) if I intend to drive from United states of America or must I necessarily fly to Alberta for the landing process?

Dear Quorox,
If I land in Alberta and tell the authorities that I am in Alberta only to perform landing formalities (and not permanently) and will be back to USA to fulfill another 6 months of job commitment, will there be any risk? This question may have been raised before but a simple Yes or No will help me plan my landing
