I received my COPR and will be landing on thursday. I want to make sure I have all the documents I need but the letter that came with it and the cic website doesn't really say what specific things you need. And of course, every website is different.
So can anyone who knows help me out??
1) What documents, other than the COPR and passport, do I need?? I heard that I need to have medical, dental, and immunization records, two different lists of your belongings, etc.
2) If I need to make lists of my goods to follow and goods in possession, how detailed does it need to be? Do I need to list every shirt, its color and size?
3) I also heard you have to get some stuff appraised. The only thing I really own worth appraising is my wedding ring and wedding gown. Does anyone know if its true?
4)What is the landing process like? I will be landing in Edmonton at the airport and just wondering what it will be like.
Thanks for any help and good luck to all of you!!!

At the airport, aside from your COPR and passport, you need the Goods Accompanying B4 and Goods to Follow B4A (if applicable) lists. Your possessions can be grouped together (clothing, books, etc) except for high value items which should be listed by value and serial #. This includes jewelry and electronics such as a laptop/PC. They do recommend appraisal for insurance purposes of high value items, yes.
Items such as dental, immunization records, diplomas etc are to assist you with job-hunting and so on. They do not have to be displayed or inspected on arrival at the POE.
The landing process is very simple, you will be asked to confirm some details on your COPR, sign it in a few places in the presence of the border officer, and that's it.

As far as jewelry, how should heirloom items be listed? For example, I have some gold bracelets from my great-grandmother, and have no idea what the value is.
