Dear All,

I am landing in Toronto on the 16th of April.

Flying Kolkata-Dubai-Toronto

Reaching Toronto  @  15:45 local time.

Will keep my post landing and travel experience updated in this foru.

I have asked this question already, but asking again, for myself and my wife, what is the minimum amount that we MUST TAKE ?

I would advise you to at least take 6 lacs or even more so that you can have sufficient enough money to survive for the first few months if you don't get a job.

You have chosen the right destination, Toronto, it is the hub for many jobs.

Which flight are you taking and what is the cost per ticket, are you a bengali.

Is it different for each applicant ( meaning is the minimum amt that I need to taker different from another FSW couple Huh

In order to give you a PR status at the time of landing, you must (IF ASKED BY THE IMMIGRATION OFFICER) show the proof of funds required. So show 11, 500 CAD for 1 person and gradually increased. They ask POF from some people only and its random.

For 2 of u, it is $13,801.00. U can take the amount in Cash, TCs, Drafts etc. Also in multiple formats.
