Is it ok to do first landing in Ottawa and giving Calgary permanent address? The reason I am giving Calgary adress is because it is my friend home where i can get permanent residence card, I dont plan to go to Calgary now, I'll just land in Ottawa and come back to US. Please let me know is there any issue with that? I am little concerned can they ask why you are landing here if you perm address in Calgary?

As a skilled worker, you can land and give an address anywhere outside Quebec without a problem.  The only question they might ask is if you will be at the Calgary address by the time your PR card arrives.  If you say no, they may decide to withhold your card until you are in Canada to stay.
