Hello Seniors and all,

My mom just got her medical request today along with police clearence certificate. If all goes well, PR visa should be issued with in next 3 months after almost 5 yrs of waiting. I have applied from quebec and Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ) will be expired in August,2011.

Question:

1. Is it mandetory to land in destination city? If they land in Ontario, will that be a problem? We may move to Ontario (for my new job) by the time they get their visa.
2. Can they land in Quebec with expired CSQ?

I read somewhere that you can land at any port but to land in Quebec you have to have CSQ but did not read anywhere if the situation is reverse.

Expert's comments will really help me planning their arrival!

Thanks and Happy Father's Day to all Fathers!

They can "land" where ever they wish.  If they didn't have a CAQ, then they shouldn't attempt to "land" in Quebec.
