Thanks Qorax! what if it reaches to Canada before us?

Thanks!

Yes.
Else it'd attract customs duty... that's quite heavy!

No issues... take that 'stamped' B4 to collect the package.

The goods will be lodged in a 'customs Bonded Warehouse' from where the 'clearing agent' will have to fetch it. Most likely your shippers will contact your friend to either accompany them to the customs for clearing it, or ask him to pay-up [the duties].

In that eventuality... he could just await for your arrival & then get the stuff collected, vide the stamped B4. Or pay-up, which is claimable later... but after some real inconveniences.

Your call, buddy.

You can also opt to do the clearance yourself with stamped B4 at the customs office.  Depending on your situation, you might need to pay up duties or not paying anything.  After clearance, the shipping company will arrange with you the delivery of your goods.

i was reading below article from the vistor guide to canada......does this mean that if someone get married after the tourist visa is obtained, then they have a risk of getting refused to enter canada on visitor visa?? should they then hide the information of marital status to be on the safer side?

Arrival in
Canada
A valid Temporary Resident Visa is not a guarantee of entry into Canada.
An officer at the port of entry will decide if you still meet the requirements
for admission when you arrive.
If there has been a change in circumstances between the date of  your
application for a visa and your arrival in Canada, or if subsequent
information is given which was not originally available to the visa office,
you may be refused entry.

1. They'd change the address alright - but your VO wouldn't change... especially @ this stage.
2. There could be some additional delay.
3. How do u propose to submit the pps from India [to London]?
