hello guys
I am planning to complete the processing of landing soon as the visa will expire in few days. I am not able to decide to move permanently now as I am yet to secure a job.

My question is: I will be driving my own car. I might list it as goods to follow. I will inform the officer the same. Do I need to have export/import documents at this ladning? Or it is required when I will be moving permanently?

Any other suggestions for US-to-Canada landing procedure?

Thanks.

Hi,

If you are including your vehicle  in the B4 form, the car could be legally cleared through customs when you are moving later to Canada permanently. That time you need all the required documents in order to get it registered in Canada for future use. While getting the goods to follow list stamped at the port of entry you may discuss about your plan about the car with the CBSA officer and he /she will explain you the formalities.
