Hello fellow members

Could some member who recently did / plan for  the landing for PR provide some on the Proof of Funds ?
I hope someone will be out there who did landing from US (on H1B) but showed the Proof of Funds from their Home Country (Example: India)

How did you go about that ?
Will the (Home country) bank Statement alone will do ?
Or should we get any monetary instrument (Example: Demand Draft) for the Proof of Fund amount ?

Regards

They did not ask me for any proof of funds.
But I had a Bank statement from India as well as US in case they asked.

Hello JPMC

Lucky...
Where did you cross the Border ?
Also did you include the details in the E667 / E677 Cross-Border Currency or Monetary Instruments Report ? [Since you were not actually carrying any monetary instrument (only Bank Statement)]

Thanks for the Info

Hello JPMC

Thanks again for the reply.
However you should have declared the amount of currency (CAD equivalent) you are bringing into Canada (for settlement). Did you not fill anything ?

Also how about the Goods To Follow list ?

I'm interested to know the answers to manianz47 question, as I'm planning on landing in Alberta this september.

So, when landing it's ok to show a bank statement? I thought you should only show cash, money order or traveller's check for proof of funds.
