Landed

My family and I landed at the US- Canada Border (Douglas, near Vancouver) last week. The process was smooth although the IO expressed his unhappiness in landing people who are returning to the US immediately. He reminded us of the residency obligations and I said I am very clear about them. We spent three days in Vancouver as we also had the H1 revalidation appointment at the US consulate. Thankfully, that too went on fine. The only problem was weather - there was a huge storm in Vancouver, of an intensity they had never experienced since the 1960s.

The whole process took two years - I had initiated the process in Nov 2004. Good luck to all readers in the forum.
