Hi Madam Tinu,

I got your message from Papa Morufu.First, let me congratulate you on the latest news.I am really happy for you.

From where I am standing, I can confidently tell anyone that the PR is worth all the blood and tears.Initially I was not for the whole thing considering the fact that the family will have to go through periods of long separation but my dear sister when you experience a system that gives even you a good chance at a second career, challenges the children to always think critically and be problem solvers, forces them to use the internet everyday in positive ways, institutes the spirit of volunteering in them which boosts their self confidence and we are only three weeks in such a system, I think you can see why.

All the same one will still need to constantly remind the kids who they are and where they are from as the get bombarded with both positive and negative comments as new comers. I guess that is where it is very necessary a parent chat with them after they come back from school.

I will be too happy to share more perspectives with you just list all your questions out. Digest this mail and bring the rest on. I am waiting. Once again, Congratsssss and Bless GOD.

I am truly encouraged by this post. It's good to see u landed members share ur experience here. I appreciate u all. Please keep it coming as we look forward to sharing ours soon. God bless u all richly IJN, AMEN.

@  Tinuadebola, congrats on your MR

@ gel003, generally Canadians prefer Canadian credentials. That's as far as I know but maybe someone else has more info on this.

This is a word of inspiration from Snr Omoge. Efforts needs to be doubled to ensure +ive response from AVO. God help us all.

@  Ig I say thank you once again for the idea of this thread and more for the idea of the meeting its such a wonderful feeling!!!!!!

@  Lagos Peeps i heard you guys had a blast so glad you could all make it we learn a lot when we share knowledge and that makes us better prepared for the journey ahead.

@ Abuja Peeps!!!!!! what can i say? so so glad to have you guys around, your attendance and contribution inspire of the security alert here and there was quite appreciated. Vickolo you are not alone the meeting has indeed awoken a fresh passion in me and once the PPR lands there might be no further delay again. Am truly tired of BH and their terror activities.

@ Pa Seglad Many thanks for your consistent support and advise. Thanks for speaking with us on Skype and for the advise we do appreciate.

@ Pa Jackson Thanks also for your call and congrats in advance for our PPR

@ Firm Another good post from you giving us Accountants more reasons to look forward to Canada thanks for sharing

@ Maky Hearty congratulations on the arrival of the baby may grace be multiplied to you even as you nurse him

@ all once again i am so glad to be part of this wonderful family and i sincerely urge us to have it in our mind that this fellowish would not stop here as we are taking over Canada from the Indians and the Asians thru our cooperation and networking. The three magic words of" Please, Am sorry and Thank you" should not depart from us and for those who have not learnt it the time to learn them is now .

Cheers all

http://www.theprovince.com/business/Feds+putting+freeze+skilled+worker+immigrant+investor+programs/6850692/story.html

We hope it is not real for the sake of our brothers and sisters. Some peoples' IELTS would have expired by that time.

It is still rumour to me but there is always an iota of truth in every rumour. But if the rumour turns to be true, It will not be a permanent freeze but to clear the backlogs. Anybody in the process of submitting fresh application should continue to warm up till when the lift will be announced, hopefully it will not come with another twisting. I will try to talk to some immigration pals if they are aware of anything

Let us keep our fingers crossed till we hear from Jason K.
