I landed with my family on september 27th and be prepare becase the immigration officer at the border (seattle - vancouver )counted every single dollar i had .they even asked me if my 14th year old dauther had any money with her.  to tell you the true i was getting a little bit worry two officer called me up and counted the money.
you can bring up to a million and you will not have a problem , PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU DECLARE ALL THE MONEY THAT YOU ARE BRINGING.and make sure that you bring the amount you are require to bring according the size of your FAMILIA.

i did not have any problem they even give you a paper that states the amount of funds that you are bringing...................PALOMO

As per doc, it is required to declare if we carry more than 10,000 CAD$

If we carry less than 10,000CAD$, may we need to declare?
