I am from finance side but not from accounts.
1.  You can start co op in accounts with  http://www.dpcdsb.org/CEC/CNE/Adult+Centres/St+Gabriels+Centre/, be quick as it is starting on 3rd Jan 2011 and seats fill up fast.
2.  You can get your academic credential assesed and then apply for paid intenship to Carrier Bridge ( there is waiting period ) .
