Can anyone explain to me about the new law in LMO (live in caregiver)? My employer just give me a positive LMO for my sister in Philippines for her to apply work permit under Live in Caregiver Program (LCP) and the LMO is gonna expire in 6 months but the processing in Philippines takes almost 2yrs before she got approved, is this LMO gonna affect her application? I know that the immigration needs not expired LMO.

heres the link to new law of LMO

On your LMO, it will say the name of the Service Canada worker who approved it and their phone number. Call them and ask.
