Hey all.... wow... so much to read. Love the updates and glad to see that both mr. jam and stressed are getting the medical attn needed... prayers are with you both!

while skimmin through the posts i did see a new name... welcome to all those who have recently joined!

My vacation was wonderful.. hubby is passed out right now, he drank tequilla shots for the first time last night and was sick on the plane... pooor guy... but i did warn him lol...  and sorry for all those who had bets on the BAM in the hammock... i couldnt find a hammock at all... one day i got froshed out and went on a mission to find a hammock... no matter how hard it would of been i would of done it that day... mojitos make u feel like u can do anything........ twice!

thx longdistance. Weather was beautiful - doesnt compare to JA tho. Great news that you handed in all of the requested documents. Sounds like your real close to the end.

Few questions tho...

is the removal fee the 1500 or the Arc fee? what is the total for both the removal fee and the Arc Fee?

Also, do you think they would ask you for these fees if there was a chance of denial? i know its only specualtion but can we assume this is a positive request for you?

i am assuming it is... so fingers crossed that shortly you and hubby will be together.

Also, when you say arc fee and letter... when you say letter what do you mean? if i remember right You have to get a letter from Canada saying that he can come back or somthing similar right?

I was asked for docs and recieved AOR and was asked to redo police check and meds all was submitted on december 28th  and still dealing with MP ....hence my UPdate yesturday

I am too really surprised about our newest UPDATE on here 4 months by far the best ...damn mabey KG a get better...Jam wifey i dunno by the sounds of this newest UPDATE mabey thing a look up for you my girl....Or dem have one awesome IO a work deh....

Also i wanna agree with KC if they ask you to pay ARC and Removal costs then i do belive you application is been deemed approved pending med and police clearance...Just my 2 cents but they wont make you redo a medical unless they are going to approve ur application to perminate residence

 I hope this is a good sign. I cant wait for this wait to end. I was looking at torontogirls timeline and even after she handed in her ARC  stuff and med. redo it took 7 months. I get a knot in my tummy when i think of it. But you cant follow timelines really. look at helpmeplease 4 months i am shocked so happy for her. keeping my fingers crossed I have a feeling about may for some reason.

Longdistance - thx for the reminder i knew there was some letter involved. I think it is good news... but geez 1900 dollars on top of the initial payment... sure do make it expensive... so it goes... we would pay whatever it takes for our husbands and wives... love has no value!

Soso- I cant even get across the border by vehicle without getting a visa and i am a british citizen with a PR card. I have only got a visa by going to cross the border at Niagra Falls and then they make me go wait in a room full of canadian immigrants or visitors who want to go to America. I had to wait 5 hours one time - it was a saturday around noon. They took my photos took a eye scan and took my finger prints.

I would totally recommend applying for a visa before going to the border as Frequent requested. It will make things so much easier and avoid the long line up and wait. I dont know how long the visa will be issued for a jamaican but my visa was issued for six months meaning i could travel back and forth from canada to america without having to apply for another visa.
