HI ALL

Can a Can PR cross the USA Border with out a US visa?

depends on the nationality  of the PR holder (from Jamaican, No they cannot)

basically if the person needed a US visa previous, they will still need one... apparently this gets easier the longer you've held PR (and residence in Canada)

HF - Canadian PR's who needed a visa to enter the US before becoming Canadian PRs still need one after.  As chelley said, it does become easier to get one after you've been a PR and resident in Canada for a while, but the requirement is still there to get one.

Well I'm super unimpressed with the world today. Some stupid lady at Virgin Mobile said she found my phone records and had mailed them. So for a month before I came....nothing came in the mail to my parents home. So I call today and the agent says there is no record for my phone number and refers me to Sprint which owns Virgin. THEN...the lady tells me they only keep records for 24 months...and even if they did have them I'd have to get a court supeona to get them.

So my biggest evidence of our relationship before marriage...considering we had a long friendship, then relationship before we met...and got married rather quickly....was the damn phone records.

So now how the hell am I gonna prove my relationship and avoid delays now??? I have NOTHING to prove our relationship before other than a few emails. We used to talk up to six times a day and texted all day long. My phone records came in my email....and it wont let me log in anymore to print them off and at that time I didn't know I would need them. My phone records used to be up to fifty pages long of texts and phone calls between us.

I'm so very upset right now and very unsure what to do.

Ok so apparently i have to post this in two messages.

My evidence from the trip we got engaged on...to the wedding...is great. Since our marriage I have millions of pics. My family is very close...and my hubby is also very close to my family. So my family comes over regularly to visit and stay with us. As well as my parents have made alot of friends on the island...so we have a very normal life...with alot of family involvment as well as a network of friends on the island that connect with my relatives in Canada...we all one big happy family and my photos show that. My family is church going very clean cut people...no drinking/smoking. They come over alot for church conventions on the island as well. So I'm hoping the evidence of the character of what kind of people we are will show through. As well as the closness of our family.

I just feel like we are gonna get our case delayed and interviewed and all of that because now I have a lack of evidence due to the lack of phone records.

Would it be appropriate to include a letter to immigration stating the circumstances with virgin mobile and the court issue to get phone records?

Someone please advise...I'm so annoyed by this and frusterated!!
