Hi sassy i wasn't meaning that what if your hubbys is denied sorry I was abit confusing.   Nothing has gone right in the past yrs in our life so I just except anything. I totally believe you guys at right sitting on the line  now which its about time.

Yesturday i am not to sure what i was expecting...but i am glad she found out some info and for that i am grateful

From what it looks like is when you are asked to redo police clearances there isnt a wham bam you done you have to wait for there check to clear cause they always will do theirs ....and oviously they give it a month from submission....i am assuming the 60 day timeline has something to do with it .... Hence the febuary 14th BF date  Our meds show in the system as valid till december but that is it....So from what i can gather is there recieved but not viewed... Once the checks clear then they will look at the meds

What a process hopefully this gives everyone a idea to what is taking place

Hi Sassy - when my lawyer sent an email to CIC to tell them about the ecas update and ask for clarification, here is what they responded (btw - they responded to her within 2 days):

"Dear Mr Gagne,
 
We can only assume that "null" is a typo error as we ae not familiar with the term either.  Your client's interview date is schedule for February 24, 2010  at 8:00A.M."

So - they never did respond about why there is a new update file open with "Decision Made" .... grrrrrr

Honestly to everyone ... I can sense that all of our frustration levels have spiked. I too read the update on the ARC timeline for her hubby and it's depressing. It would mean my hubby wouldn't be home until 2011. And it also makes me worry even further about why we have an interview at this stage. Really - what could it be about? Being married for over 14 years I don't think it's questioning that. And it would seem to early for anything else no?

It's tough because I have you guys for a source of info (past experiences etc). My husband has everyone else who are almost being too optimistic .. and I don't want to but negative thoughts in his head and get him worried for no reason.

Lonely - I am feeling for you right now. I keep praying that you'll get good news really soon. Honestly, I truly feel you will. Not psychic - sorry .....

Missing. Feb 14th huh? well maybe the IO will be feeling all sentimental that day and inspired to move things along with your file! 
Good for you about staying ontop of things. I think we spend too much time worrying about persception and how the IO's will judge us or how it will affect how they handle our files. We have a right! We are fighting for our families here.

Ok - it's Friday! That's a good thing right? And next week is a new week and I've already predicted updates.

Um that is really sad that they did not tell you why there is decision made...I do pray for relief from this horrible wait for all of you...Jamaican people them reallly positive they look to the lord in everything...hence all the positive thoughts...

In reaching his plane seat, a man is surprised to see a parrot strapped into the seat next to him. Next thing they know, both the man and the parrot are wrenched up and thrown out of the emergency exit by 2 burly stewards. Plunging downwards to the ground the parrot turns to the man and says, "For someone who can't fly, you sure are a lippy *censored word*... "

unbelieveable update!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

omg I'm shaking and crying as I'm typing this!!! MY husband called me when I was at the garage getting my tire fixed and he said they called me!! So I figured it was either an interview or document request...nope they left a VM that said submit your passport at the embassy next week and we will call you back to pick it up with your visa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy F*CK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I nearly crapped myself at the garage!! I could not believe it!! He listened to the message 2 more times and then called me back to make sure lol!!! omg!! I am so happy right now I am feeling like I am going to vomit!! in a good way lol~~ holy crap....!! I kept saying are you sure they said passport?? lol omg....Im on cloud 9 right now!!! I drove home like a bat outta hell to tell my mom she was outside walking and I got out, ran to her crying hugged her and said  he is coming home!!! She was crying too..a moment I will never forget!!! sorry for rambling on but I am in shock..!!

I don't post here much, but from time to time I read a few postings and I just wanted to congratulate you on your update.

We applied for a TRV which got denied this past Monday. The reason for a TRV was for him to be here for the birth of our son who is due FEB 6. They just handed out around 20 denial letters to everyone not even giving them the chance for an interview.We were pretty upset, but hopefully the Perm residence application will go through soon. Keeping fingers crossed.

To everyone else, I hope you will get some updates sooonnn!!!  They need to be working on some files that have been pending for a while!

Torontogirl (I think) - OOHHHH, 20 months is a long time girl.... I can definitely relate b/c I'm headed for that myself.  I'm developping arthritis in my bones... lol!!
I'm so happy to hear that your process is coming to an end.  I'm sure it will give our ARC girls something to relate and look forward to.
