togirl2011: I noticed that we are pretty close in application times. Our application was sent to Mississauga on November 1st. I was just wondering if you guys had received an AOR yet? It is so encouraging to me to see Butterfly get through and she applied around the same time as you so hopefully  we are right around the corner!! I am praying and hoping next week is filled with good news for many!! Can't wait til Monday!

lilmaya:  no AOR.  we received the mass Ecas update at the end of January indicating app and med rec'd.  just last week the meds rec'd disappeared.  we, too are just waiting.  i sure hope one of dem slow IO's didn't get our file.  LOL  I am visiting hubby this week and gonna get him to sign the release form so we can apply for CAIPS if we don't see movement soon.  May even consider calling MP to advise AOR not received but not sure.  Will see how we feel in the next few weeks and then decide our move.

togirl2011: Enjoy your visit!! Are you there for one week? Which part of Jamaica? If you wouldn't mind.. keep me updated what you decide to do about the AOR letter. Especially if you decide to involve an MP i'd like to know how that process works.

lilmaya:  going to be there for 11 days.  we have a place in St. Ann's parish so we usually stay in the area, however, this time we are taking a few "alone" days in Negril.  Can't wait to see hubby and then to get 3 days alone is even better.  He says it's pretty hot these days, not so much rain as there has been the last few visits.  We are really hoping I don't need to make another visit....the next travel is for him to come here.....sooooon come.  We are really hoping for June so we pray and keep our fingers crossed.

Have a great trip, Togirl!  Love St. Ann/St. Mary, miss that area a lot, can't wait to take hubby over there to show him.  We are headed to Negril too, to see my family and relax on the beach.

Hubby should be on his way here next week too, it's been more than a week since Passport Canada told him 10 days to get his PP back, so I am all excited.  Goodbye Tax Day, hellooooo husband!

How did everyone do with this time change? SPRING HAS SPRUNG. 

So Anxious I did read your landing story and I must say 6 BOTTLES! Way to go and Im glad they didnt charge ya for that many bottles.  I think that gives us more ideas on the journey for our loved ones when its our turn ha ha ha that was a good one.

Waiting 4 a Star: I loved reading your story....Its nice to know that you two are madly in love like you are newly weds its so great to hear you are very blessed in deed.  I wanted to tell ya I didnt forget about you and your story is an inspiration to know that you have LOVE such as yours.  I have been very busy school project, son, work, home...wasnt on this forum all weekend until now.  Everytime Im on this site my son is what are you doing mom? why are you on that? who are you talking to? he is so curious and so cute...

JAMAICA! watch out here I come...I am on the countdown..Leaving March 23, 2011 for two whole weeks with my hubby...I want this trip to be extra special.  I am hoping this is my last one and that my husband will be the one flying on the plane to come to his home...

UPDATE!
Hey everyone hubby reached safely  here in Toronto last night. It was so beautiful (family were all there to welcome him and it was a teary moment). I am so happy its all over now Thank you everyone for your compassion and support (you all are amazing people) I wish you all the best of luck. God answers prayers. The total process was 6 months. My laptop is going to die and I am soooo tired, been out all day from morning til 12am wit family celebrating him coming home. Goodnite y'all.
