kc, the Mrs is starting to climatize a bit more. Been -25-30 and snowing for past week and she was a bit down last night. Says she doesn't miss the heat a talll. Went to the store last night and asked how many months before all this snow melts, can't see the sun ever being warm enough to melt 2' of snow.
Found a wonderful nigerian woman in the next town who did a great job. Mrs couldn't believe it was $250 cdn, she says my word I can do my hair for 2 years in JA for that price.
 Charlie, please forewarn your neighbours that the thunder, lightning and earthquake they experience will be just you and hubby checking out the bam bam

Actually, I already planned to "kidnap" him to a hotel that is literally around the corner from our apartment for his first night back.  I figure hotel staff won't raise any eyebrow, and we can...umm...take the edge off...before heading back home

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband got a call awhile ago to pick his passport up next week Thursday!!!
This feels so unreal . Were hoping to buy a ticket for next week Saturday. We are so excited. I will update again next week to see how things go.

For all those who haven't gotten through yet just keep praying, praying, praying and praying and hang in there. Having faith and keeping positive is another one. Your time will come and believe its right around the corner. I know its hard not to worry and stress with all that is going on including the lack of control with immigration speeding up on files but, just please just keep BELIEVING and never stop and that's when God will step in and do his miracles. Don't try to  handle your business, let God do it for you because overall, he does a better job at it.

Ramdont... about the letter I would get him to write one email it and fax it... I think it is worth it to try... I agree with Nae nae not sure if its necessary to go drop one off

Smoothiesqueen... from what I have seen having children on the application can extend the length of the process but I only seen it extend it if the children are from a previous relationship... if the child is from the sponsor than I never heard of an application taking longer

Lilmaya welcome to the forum.... my application was sent in june and I didn't hear nothing until November from Kingston... I hope this gives helps and I totally understand what you mean by its difficult to be patient lol I have been waiting almost 9 mths and its killing me lol btw the forum is very addicting lol I check it from my blackberry all the time when i don't have computer access

I'm glad you posted it, I laughed when I read it      I'm feeling ok, thanks for asking.  Some good days, some bad, no morning sickness just tired and smells are making me very nauseous.  I have super scent now lol  it's awful though, wish I could turn it off.  Thanks for updating us on how your wife is doing.  It's interesting cause my hubby says he doesn't miss the heat either and refuses to wear a Winter coat lol  he is too hot he says

Can someone PLEASE tell me what HGN is up to today?.....

I just checked ecas and now my mailing address is completely missing!!!!! In it's place they have "If you want to see the details of an application, click on the underlined status.".

When I click on the underlined statues ( which is in process)...I get "medical results have been recieved", thats what it read a few months ago, then it dissapeared and now it is back.

All I can do is laugh at this whole process...'cause if i don't I will surely cry.......LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aww Nae...super scent tends to come with hormonal changes I find.  There will be some days of the month that the least little scent has me feeling nauseated or it seems like everyone is wearing very heavy cologne, LOL.

lilmaya... I was approved as a sponsor on july 6 then my file was received by kingston on july 13 and hubby got the AOR on november 3... then he received the doc request on the same day.... but it was 2 different letters... then my status on ecas changed to medical results received on jan. 25 then it was tooken off a few days after.... my husband got a call from kingston on feb. 3 letting him know that they were finalising his stuff but they had misplaced the medical examination paper... they asked him for the MD number that was on the paper and the lady said she would call back soon for passport drop off... and nothing since... I faxed, emailed and nothing.... me and my MP talked and agreed ill order the caips notes... then when I called ottawa where they do the caips the lady said I should order the medical file as well... so I am waiting I just send it off on monday.... they told me they process caips notes within 30 days of them receiving it... so I am waiting to see whats up

i miss the computer i am mad bad that our laptop wont work out in the bush no more oh well..
