Ramdont, you can be called any day to drop off or pick-up your passport, but you can only do the actual drop off or pick up on Tuesdays or Thursdays.

WELL, where do I start?...Been back for nearly 2wks from JA since b4 xmas for those who remember we had doc request b4 i left we sent that just b4 xmas hols me & hubby decided to extend my visit til after Feb 4 his bday (was meant 2b back since January) we said we may be lucky to come together & get a call but never. Since back they put him on ECAS now but no "meds received" just "received our application in August" (but the  date is 2wks contrary to the AOR) think NAE NAE got some dates mixed up on her AOR so I e-mailed them with no reply so contact my MP he say will look into it but dont follow ECAS they update when & what they feel like!!! but he call me  with something different say misplaced our original documents & medical SAME AS LONELY & LADYPOSH? he said they will probably find the originals but we need to get a number/scan copy of meds to him & he will e-mail them & do the rest! my hubby has it I have the police certificate he said they send us a letter which is LIE cos hubby go office up to last week  THIS OFFICE A GWARN BAD NOW WITH PEOPLE IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS...LADY POSH? & LONELY etc BETTER CHASE UP WITH MP IF THINK SOMETHING WRONG COS IT LOOK LIKE SOME MIX UP WITH FILES!!!???

 ON A BETTER NOTE I had no access to the internet out there but glad to read all the good updates CONGRATS TO NAE WITH HUBBY LANDED & BABY ON THE WAY, LCW & KC16

Chukie, hey.  Man that sucks, WTH is going on in KG??

What documents did they request?  And if they are the ones who misplaced them, and it is something hard to obtain again, it had better be a case where they sort themselves out and don't put people through it again for their own carelessness!

CHARLIED it was original documents marriage, birthy, claro phone calls, pics etc. anything to support the application they never even call us like LONELY they mus cyaan find we number & then tell lie bout send letter cos they feel shame  >:(them mus have some real FOOL FOOL peeps in that visa office sware down!! dont know who misplace them but hope MP can do something

Oh man! that sucks! How the hell do we entrust them with our important documents and they lose them? thats just crazy, they seem to be losing a lot of stuff these days, thats definitely not good...so sorry to hear that chukie...kmt

The more people share their experience, the more I think Kingston misplaced some documents for my husband because I can't understand them now trying to verify a marriage certificate after ppr. However, the marriage certificate was given to them from Nov, 4 and it's now they are doing checks??? I strongly beleive something fishy is going on at that office. As a matter of fact yesterday while at the MP's office he indicated to me that Kingston was in a big mess!!!!! He didn't really specify but I guess he was talking about all this mislpacing of people's important documents!!!

well i would hope they find the originals but what happens if they dont, not like they gonna spend all dem time really searching...they are so careless and carefree! i cant believe that they lost u guys docs...I certainly hope they find them, and how ong they gonna take to find them? they just adding more time to this whole long process...gaaawd its crazy!

mi go post office so many times and dem tell me say no letter nuh de de, my letters always reach me a week or so before the 60 day deadline they give. Postal system in jamaica is crap! You should tell hubby to go everyday, i think sometimes they do the letters and have them in the mailroom or whereever so damn long that it takes forever to get to us.

My advice is to try and see if you can get originals again and send them in, but then did they request that u send orig again, cause if not then they may not let u hubby in to drop it off...aww bwoy, never ending drama wid kgn

well i can safely say that i have been waiting nearly two years and i hope the ''big mess'' they in dont delay me any longer, they have been delaying me enough.

They must be in a big mess fi real cause mi nuh understand how dem a lose so many things! peoples important docs!

no its not its a spousal application, but we kept having issues here and there, mainly because of our ''incompetent'' lawyer, they didnt even ask us for an interview so not like they needed to check to see if our relationship was genuine. Yeah tomorrow makes one week since I dropped off my passport.

RAMDONT well in yur case yu deh final stage but dem still gwaan with foolishness the way me zeet until yu get the visa in yu book yu life still in dem people hands up to the time dem still can tell you "horse dead & cow fat" (as my mum/hubby wud seh)   I HAVE TO LAFF IF I DONT ME WILL

ok, hope you hear from them soon. They have been 'wifing' up my husband's pp 2 mths now. Today makes exactly 2 mths. Hope to get a breakthrough soon!!!
