Well Forum people....I gave in and just could not spend my !st year annivesrary here in the cold by myself after spending my birthday(FEb.5th) by myself so I am going to see hubby.  I am leaving Sunday Feb. 13th and will be there for my anniversary on the 15th.  I am going for 5 days....it is better than nothing.  I am so excited....I can't wait to see my baby!!!!

Can someone suggest a sentimental 1st anniversary gift for my hubby?

Ladyposh that's great!!  I'm sure it will be a great time.

First anniversary is supposed to be "paper" gifts.  Why not get him a really nice album with pictures from high points of your year together so far?  You can include handwritten notes, (or use a nice font on your computer if you have a chicken scratch like me ) sharing how you felt or what was going through your mind when the pics were taken.  Just an idea.  Do a Google search, you'd be amazed at some ideas you might get!

I'm still counting the days, waiting for hubby to show up at the gate, LOL.  Looks like February is a month for visits from spouses!

I hope today is a good day where we get some phone calls.  I am such a bad mood today but i know my spirit will soon be lifted from all the good news.

Sometimes people can really cause you stress by being so selfish, i pray everyday for the lord to deliver me from this place call work.  In times like these one really dont want to be sitting down and not working, but the rudeness and selfish people i have to deal with can be very overbearing, but as the saying goes God wont give you more than you can bear.

So sorry to be ranting like this, but i just need to release. Have a great day everyone.

Jahlove, hang in there.  I am stressed at work too, and it is hard and some days I want to tell hubby that I am just going to go home and sit down.  Thank God for him though, he really keeps me strong and reminds me that "This too shall pass", and as my mother always says, nothing but salvation lasts forever.  I cannot wait until I am done with working my heart and soul out for thankless bosses, hubby has his own business, and I am going to work with him when we are together.  I will put all my skills and experience to work for someone who will occasionally say "thanks". 

Today is Thursday, let's bring some more home!  Let's go KG, LET'S GO!!

Good morning all, it is Thursday and hopefully a day of rejoice for all when someone gets the call. Charlie gonna help you out a little and throw in a little humour

 recently widowed Jewish lady, was sitting on a beach towel at Cocoa Beach, Florida. She looked up and noticed that a man her age had walked up, placed his blanket on the sand nearby and began reading a book.

Smiling, she attempted to strike up a conversation with him. "Hello, sir, how are you?"

"Fine, thank you," he responded, and turned back to his book.

"I love the beach. Do you come here often?" she asked.

"First time since my wife passed away last year," he replied, and again turned back to his book.

"Do you live around here?" she asked.

"Yes, I live over in Suntree," he answered, and then resumed reading.

Trying to find a topic of common interest, Sarah persisted. "Do you like pussycats?"
With that, the man threw his book down, jumped off his blanket onto hers, tore off both their swimsuits and gave her the most passionate ride of her life!

As the cloud of sand began to settle, Sarah gasped and asked the man, "How did you know that was what I wanted?"

The man replied, "How did you know my name was Katz?"
